Chasing Rainbows
The Backyard Bucketlist Bandits Band
Some journeys begin with a destination in mind. Others begin with little more than hope, curiosity, and the willingness to take the next step. Chasing Rainbows was created by Eddie Cavazos and Leroy Esparza with the belief that the pursuit of something meaningful can be just as rewarding as the destination itself. The Backyard Bucketlist Bandits Band has built its identity around optimism, adventure, and the joy of making music that brings hope and encouragement to children. With a sound that reflects a wide range of musical influences while remaining unmistakably their own, the band embraces songs that celebrate life's possibilities, overcoming obstacles, and the belief in yourself.
The title Chasing Rainbows represents more than simply pursuing dreams. It is a reminder that hope continues to inspire us even when the finish line is out of sight. Every melody, lyric, and performance reflects the belief that life is meant to be experienced with courage, gratitude, and a sense of wonder.
Recorded in Helotes, TX with an emphasis on authenticity, the BBBB capture the chemistry that comes from musicians sharing a common vision. Rather than relying on perfection, the band sought honesty by allowing each instrument, each vocal performance, and every musical moment to contribute naturally to the story being told.
The Backyard Bucketlist Bandits Band extends sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to this project. To all of our family, friends, collaborators, engineers, and listeners whose encouragement continues to make independent music possible.
Special Thanks to Lauro Torres (percussion, Chasing Rainbows), our Youth Choir on Chasing Rainbows (Alicia Montaño, Brielle Garcia, Sebastian Rodriguez, & Imogen Tabb). A big thank you to Verónica Segundo for the amazing artwork for the album cover.
